If it is only the volute you need, order one to match the original rail or a newly designed one. Newel posts in different sizes can be supplied unfinished .

 A climbing volute that starts  a handrail is a graceful and  elegant feature of a  staircase. Not only is it  visually pleasing but when it  is done right it is a pleasure  to grip and to use.
